Jen White is the author of
A Thousand Minutes to Sunlight and
Survival Strategies of the Almost Brave. She has a degree in English teaching and earned an MFA in writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Why a retreat with workshop? To combine two of our favorite ways to make writing shine. Workshops provide valuable feedback on our writing. Retreats give us the precious time we need to make leaps of progress on our manuscripts. So, we thought, why not put the two together?

can I Pay in two installments?
Yes! If it helps, pay the first half of your retreat fee when you register. Pay the second half by September 30th. If needed, a refund will be given if cancellation is made 31 days in advance of the retreat.
can i choose my own roommate?
Of course! Tell us on your registration form if you and you have a writing friend you'd like to room with.
how many people are in the workshop?
The workshop is capped at 8 people so there is adequate time to critique each person's manuscript and also get instruction from Jen.
what kind of food will we eat?
We're working with a caterer in advance so we'll have balanced and delicious meals for you. We'll also bring all of your favorite writing snacks.
